Introduction

Any Senator is allowed to introduce a bill to the Senate for the opportunity to become law. There are thousands of bill introduced to the Senate every year. When a bill is introduced to the Senate, it is assigned a number. For example, a bill to help the development of science parks was assigned the number S.583.
