After debate, the full Senate votes on the bill. If the bill passes and is identical to the passed House of Representatives version of the bill, it is sent directly to the President. If passed and not identical to the House of Representatives version of the bill, then it is sent to Conference Committee. If the bill fails to pass the Senate, then it dies
