Conference Committee Debate

The Conference Committee debates the differences in the bills from each house in order to create one unified bill. For example, if the Senate version of the bill had $40 million designated for the retired military dental plan and the House version designated $50 million for the dental plan, the Conference Committee could compromise to make the dental plan $45 million.
